Joe Roberts-Walker
Founder
Joe founded Mejuicer in January 2021, fuelled by lockdown restlessness, a second-hand juicer, and a need to do something that felt good. What started in his kitchen with ginger, carrots and curiosity quickly grew into something bigger: Mejuicer – a fresh, unpasteurised juice company built on joy, flavour and proper sustainability.
Joe had no background in food or drink – just a sharp nose for what people want, and a belief that things can be done better. That belief now runs through everything Mejuicer does – from its closed-loop glassware system to its mental health charity partnership and its colourful, unapologetically human personality.
Before Mejuicer, Joe worked in market research. The spreadsheets were useful, but it was the people he met, the energy of small businesses, and the urge to build something of his own that pushed him to take the leap. Since then, he’s led Mejuicer from midnight deliveries in his Mazda MX5 to supplying Amazon, Soho House, Ralph Lauren and dozens of top law and finance firms.
Joe believes business should be personal. Under his leadership, Mejuicer has built a closed-loop model that reuses glassware, repurposes pulp waste, and donates 1% of all sales to CALM – a suicide prevention charity close to his heart.
He’s still deeply involved in every part of the business – writing labels, packing crates, and delivering juice when he can. Mejuicer might be growing, but it remains proudly independent, community-minded, and rooted in the simple idea that small things – like a ginger shot – can make a big difference.
